Shabonee students will take the state-required IAR assessments during a portion of each morning and afternoon on April 11, 12, 13, and 14. Please avoid scheduling appointments during these days, if possible. If testing has started and children arrive late, they will wait in the office until the test session is finished before going to class. Makeup testing will take place on April 17 & 18.
The assessment will be administered electronically, and students should have working headphones/earbuds for the audio portion of the tests. Most children already have a set of headphones/earbuds at school for classroom activities, and these will work fine. However, Bluetooth devices are not compatible with the test. Please talk with your son/daughter to make sure they have a working set here at school in April.
