School Year 2025-2026 Comes to a Close

As the students and staff begin their summer break, we want to express our gratitude to all our families for their partnership in helping our Shabonee Dolphins achieve academic and social-emotional success. The continuous support from our families plays a crucial role in ensuring our children have a happy and successful school year. We also want to extend a special thank you to our dedicated and generous PTA members for their invaluable assistance throughout the year. Their support and care have been remarkable.

On behalf of the entire Shabonee staff, we wish everyone a wonderful summer!

School Information in August

We look forward to welcoming our incoming third, fourth, and fifth graders on Thursday, August 20, for the first day of the 2026-27 school year. Teacher assignments will be accessible through the Parent Portal system about a week before school starts in August. For additional information and updates throughout the summer, especially as the school year approaches, please check the Shabonee website.

Shabonee Access Over the Summer

Shabonee will be closed this summer due to construction. If you need assistance, please call the District Office or email Dr. Panozzo.

Great news! To help support your child’s fluency growth, ReflexMath and Frax will be available through July 31, 2026.  Your child can log into their account even after the school year ends.  Please use the following website link:  www.go-el.com  Your child can then use the username and password shared on the parent letter included with the report card.

Report Card Access on June 4 at Noon  (Repost)

The final report card will be available to parents in Parent Portal after 12:00 PM on June 4, and a printed copy will go home with the children. Report cards will be mailed home to parents of children who are not present on the last day of school.

For instructions on accessing your child’s report card via Parent Portal, view this 30-second video. The first section of the video is for Wood Oaks students, and the second section addresses kindergarten through fifth grade.

 In Summary:

  1. To access your child’s report, log into Parent Portal.
  2. Then on the left click “More.” On the new main window, you can now click Online report cards.

Once you click on that, you will need to choose your child’s name from the drop-down menu, then the report card you wish to view.
